History

Conceptualized in early 2025, 10 Feet Under began as an experiment in creating immersive liminal spaces inspired by works like Pools and Liminal Spaces combined with Exit 8 mechanics. The focus was on the tension of being trapped underwater and the psychological impact of slowly shifting anomalies. Development refined the maze layout, anomaly system, and visual style to emphasize isolation, reflection, and subtle unease. The goal: a short, intense experience that leaves a lasting impression in under 20 minutes of gameplay.
